This small church, first documented in 1040, is in a Pisan-Romanesque style, built out of local tufa stone. The church features a typical "hut-like" facade with a central door, with a window above and a high wrought iron cross below on the right side. Originally, the facade was decorated with ceramic bowls, which are now kept at the museum of San Matteo in Pisa. The interior is in a rectangular plan with a single nave.
