Cevoli is a small town rich with history and art, a past attested to by a 18th century church dedicated to saints Peter and Paul.
Among the many villas and palaces found there, Villa Ceuli stands out for its wonderful park, cellar and private chapel. Built towards the end of the 17th century as a country residence for the Pisan Lanfranchi-Ceuli family, the villa's exterior features a tripartite loggia with Tuscan-style columns and late Renaissance inspired shapes (which are further highlighted by the more baroque forms of the adjoining buildings), refined by a series of statue-filled niches.
